Home: Welcome
I am a process based painter where found or recycled materials and objects are often my starting point. In combination with texture pastes , pencils, paints and pigments I turn those pre-used materials into something new. Using texture in my work before paint feels so important to me because I like to give my paintings a natural, organic feel.My subject matters are mostly landscapes or dilapidated buildings but also abstract figurative shapes and forms are being explored from time to time which, in my work,I like to break down into fragments of their organic materials, searching for something that’s been lost over time or something that remains .
Not all paintings available are displayed here on my website
